Ellis, Basia D., M.S.
______________________________________________________________________

Bio

Basia D. Ellis is a Ph.D. candidate enrolled in the Social and Theoretical Program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary, Canada. Broadly speaking, she is interested in the diversity of human experience and the ways that subjective lives unfold as embodied, cultural, and political processes. Whereas her Master’s project theoretically examined the phenomenological accounts of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Paul Ricoeur, her Doctoral dissertation takes a cultural psychological perspective and an ethnographic method to explore the daily experiences of undocumented migrants living in Canada.
